Once you complete an application for a retreat, you will be automatically added to the waitlist. If you are selected to attend the retreat, you will be emailed by the date outlined on the application with instructions on how to secure your spot. If you do not receive an email by the date noted, unfortunately you have not been selected to attend. However, you will remain on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you may be given the opportunity to attend. You can also check the program calendar for all application open, close and acceptance dates. 

Currently, we are not able to offer scholarships or subsidies for travel to and from a retreat. We do offer the opportunity to be included in a carpool list to try to limit the financial and physical burden of travel.

Retreat participation is completely free. All costs are covered, including the room, meals and experiences. However, we are unable to cover the cost of travel to and from the retreat. All of our programs are free of charge!

The first step in taking part in Living Beauty’s programs is to register to become a Living Beauty here. Once you complete registration, we'll add you to our mailing list and invite you to join our Living Beauty Community, an online platform to connect with other women with cancer. Through this community, you can sign up to attend our online Zoom workshops and movement classes, as well as register for in-person programs such as our overnight and day retreats or sisterhood events. 

Once you have registered as a Living Beauty, you will receive a welcome email with an invitation to join our Living Beauty Community. This online community will serve as a wellness hub for your experience with Living Beauty, allowing you to attend live online programming, register for in-person retreats and events, and connect with other women. You will also be added to our program newsletter mailing list. Every Thursday, you will receive an email outlining the online programs for the upcoming weeks with instructions on how to attend. 

Retreats are located at various retreat centers in Southern California. If you know of a great retreat center, please share it with us!

Our overnight and day retreats are highly sought-after events, and space is very limited. We have between 14 and 22 spots with over 100 women applying for each retreat. Participant selection is based on a few different criteria. Those who get the highest priority are women who have never been to a Living Beauty retreat before. Next are those who have never attended the specific retreat being applied to (for example, Goddess Wellness or HeArt Healing). Finally, those who have attended the type of retreat before are offered a spot if it is available. 

Yes, absolutely! We always encourage women to apply to any retreat they are interested in, and there are no limitations on how many program events you can apply to each year.
